FULLY INSURED GUARANTEED ACCEPTANCE - ALL PERMIT COURSES - THE GOLD STANDARD
The NRA CCW Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense. This course is part of the concealed carry classes offered by the NRA and is intended for all individuals, regardless of previous shooting experience or affiliation with NRA gun classes. It is also a crucial step for obtaining your NY concealed carry permit.

This course covers essential topics such as firearm safety, pistol nomenclature, and selecting a pistol for self-defense. Students will learn basic defensive pistol skills, including drawing from concealment, loading, and stoppage remediation. The curriculum also emphasizes mindset, different carry modes, and effective pistol concealment techniques. Additionally, students will be instructed on firearm cleaning, sport shooting, and various training activities. The course spans at least 8 hours and includes live fire training conducted by an NRA Certified Instructor, ensuring participants receive comprehensive education in concealed carry classes. Students will also take part in a nationally standardized shooting qualification on the range. Participants will receive valuable reference books, take the NRA CCW Student Examination, and earn a course completion certificate signed by the NRA Secretary and their NRA Certified Instructor. Furthermore, the course provides all necessary information to apply for non-resident permits, including those for Florida, Arizona, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania, making it an excellent choice for those seeking to obtain their NY concealed carry permit through NRA gun classes.
